Endless Chaos: Rejected Atrocity

This band is giving their music away. Seriously. For the last few weeks, the band has released one track at a time, hoping to generate interest not only in what they do, but also to spread the word that more is coming, including a limited-edition vinyl release later this year. I guess some could argue that all this attention is nothing more than hype, but that wouldn't be entirely fair. The music is good, so why not give it a shot?

Here's a couple more thoughts: the three tracks on this EP total out to about 13 minutes. They blend thrash and death metal styles together in the manner of bands like Ghoul, Havok, Carcass, and others. The lyrics here are all dark and wicked, the stuff of awesome horror novels and films. In this case, I detect a nod to the wonderful Lovecraft-inspired Reanimator. Who doesn't love that film? Overall, this is a convincing and exciting new addition to the world of dark and extreme metal.
