What the heckfire is it with bands such as The Bled and Atreyu and Destiny taking some of the coolest stuff from metal and then yucking it up with those soft edges that are just one or two doses of PCP removed from Green Day? Yuckety yuck. Kids these days. While there's an undeniable amount of talent going on here and tunes titled "Your Diary" and "Skies Dressed In Black" demonstrate that this here outfit knows its way around a riff the way that a man at sea knows the palm of his own hand, just like love, sometimes that just ain't enough, baby. As a famous American once said, "Gimme aggression or gimme death, just don't gimme none of this emotional jive in between."
