Beautiful melodic prog from this Argentinian band. The music tends to be a heady combination of atmospherics and driving riff-based prog metal. The songs place heavy emphasis on the guitar, but the organ and keyboards add color and at time a real motivating force to the songs. Nowhere is this better demonstrated than on "Hamacamatic," which is just a killer composition. With new bands it is often helpful to have some kind of comparison, at least in the sense of attempting to position their music. Here, these guys match up with the best of the melodic prog/metal bands, such as Symphony X or Rhapsody or maybe Kaipa. The slower songs are gorgeous. "Puestas de sol" is such a song. It begins with a slow and balladic guitar intro, and then uses piano and synth to bring the song to an anthemic close. The final suite is all about the 3 fates. Now, the last band I can think of who did a song about the fates was King Crimson and that was more than 40 years ago. This one is obviously different. This suite moves through different styles and tempos, and I really enjoyed it. I would love to see this band live. Highly recommended.
