Jason Taylor - guitar/vocals, Robbie Carvalho – bass and Ky Anto – drums are Sierra from Kitchener Ontario and Pslip is their real debut album although there is an EP available at their bandcamp site (http://sierrariff.bandcamp.com/.)Whilst they may be a tad too gloomy and grungy for my tastes at times, for instance I just can't get into "100" as it's just too downbeat for me, however, there is more than enough on offer to warrant positive thoughts on their future and songs such as "Control Folly" and in particular "Little Smoke" swings along in an Orange Goblin/Alabama Thunderpussy type of way. I believe they may well have a decent future.
