Sorronia: Words of Silence

Anna Király fronts Hungarian symphonic metal act Sorronia who join what can only be described as an overcrowded field. Whilst Words of Silence is enjoyable it very much reminds me of early Nightwish – good but not much to set it apart from the crowd. Having said that the signs are certainly there which suggest that Sorronia could develop in a similar way to the aforementioned Fins, the guitar work from László Szabó is excellent throughout especially on "Fallen Angel". As debut albums go this is solid without being exceptional and Sorronia should be placed into the file marked, "ones to watch out for."
