'Dargona Dragona' filters from the speakers as the desert highway blurs into a tunnel of speed. The unmistakable pairing of John Garcia & Brant Bjork have put their collective souls together once again, the result is Vista Chino, which is essentially Kyuss in all but name. This is cruising music for those long journeys of discovery and intrigue, a place you go to forget all your worries and immerse yourself in the glorious soundscapes they manage to capture.
'Sweet Remain', 'Planets 1&2' and the epic 'Acidize…The Gambling Moose' transports you to where you want to go. Peace is an album that leaves your skin sunburned with the grit of hot desert sand between your toes. A fuzzbox distortion meanders along, showcasing the immense passion these individuals have for their art which they refuse to let die. No manner of lawsuits or threats will prevent these musical journeymen from displaying their creative passion. Vista Chino may be the pseudo name but the music remains the same and the discoveries plentiful.
