Let's make one thing clear shall we? I like It's All About Chaos; the members of Crossed Fire (Pedro "Carlão" Vieira – Bass, Filipe "Beja" Silva – Guitar, Eduardo "Cunha" Cunha – Guitar, Bruno "Janita" Henriques – Drums and David Rosa – Vocals) have produced a kick-ass EP which certainly bounced off the wooden floors at my house and made my dog head towards the front door!
For a start, as it's an EP it doesn't hang around long enough to get irritating and that is pleasing in many ways. It's as heavy as a very heavy thing indeed and more than brutal enough to blast away any cobwebs in one's day. In "Criminal Mistakes" and "Portuguese Liquor" there's even a hint of "hit" material. The only slight issue is a potential lack of originality but Crossed Fire don't exactly deal with the most cutting edge or innovative genre so we'll let that slide and raise thumbs aloft for this especially if you like Down, Crowbar or their ilk.
