Dobson, Ewan: Acoustic Metal

Ewan Dobson is a Canadian guitarist, who has produced three previous albums with "Acoustic Metal", as his latest release. "Dobson has previously won first prize in nearly every single Classical Guitar competition across Canada. He also won the Grand Prizes from both the Burlington Rotary Fall Music Festival and the Pickering Rotary Music Festival. Dobson has represented Ontario twice at the National Finals of the prestigious Canadian Music Competitions (CMC). In the summer of 2009, Dobson was crowned the Canadian Fingerstyle Guitar Champion at the prestigious 5th annual Canadian Fingerstyle Guitar Competition held in Kingston, Ontario. This album is amazing, especially if you are a guitar 'aficionado'. You can tell from the first notes of this album that all the awards discussed previously were well –deserved. As an album full of immaculate guitar – driven finger work you can sit back and enjoy every note without any outside influence of vocals or additional music to interrupt your concentration. It is interesting to listen with amazement, even if you do not know how to play note or chord number one. The music moves with great melody and the drum supports with excellent rhythm.

This is a two CD set, with CD including both drum and guitar. The second CD is the same music without drums.

Relax and listen to a master maneuver amongst the notes and chords. Never a dull moment…especially during"'Halloween 2012", and "Star Wars Medallion".
