Paris: Only One Life

Alessandro Del Vecchio must be in line to take Danny Vaughn's title of Most Appearances on Albums This Decade. Here's (yet) another album over which Del Vecchio sprinkles his magic production fairy dust – it's as if he's morphing into Denis Ward! He also contributes backing vocals and as is the wont these days genre stars also make an appearance, in this case Robert Säll (Work Of Art, W.E.T) who plays lead guitar on "America" whilst Steve Newman adds more backing vocals.

As I seem to mention all the time at the moment there's very little on offer to differentiate Paris from the rest of the field. Paris main men Frédéric Dechavanne & Sébastien Montet have cratfed some solid tunes especially "South of Love" and "Every Time You Walk Away" which evoke memories of a different time and place i.e. the 1980s. Their label describes them as creating, "catchy Melodic Rock tunes," and that's very much the case.

Track Listing:
1) Dancing On the Edge 4:07
2) What Should We Be Saying 4:26

8) On Fire 4:23
9) When The Lights Fade Away 4:26
10) Handle With Care 4:12
11) The Time Still To Come 3:55
