Kasting, Kevin, and Sandor Szabo: The Book of Crossings
Guitar virtuosos, Kevin Kastning and Hungarian Sándor Szabó team up on 'The Book of Crossings', to explore and experiment with new guitar melodies. Kastning is well known as the inventor of the 14-string Contraguitar. On this album he also plays 12-string bass-baritone guitar, and the 12-string alto guitar. Szabo plays, Guzheng, a 21-string harp from Korea.
This is a very well written and performed mix of wonderful acoustic landscapes of imagination and deep introspection.
Excellent experimental guitar for any time of day or any occasion.
