Audio Porn: Jezebels Kiss

Let us get the obvious out of the way immediately shall we? Firstly, Audio Porn is a terrible, terrible name and certainly one which I find off-putting. Allied to a not very good sleeve my initial thoughts about this album certainly weren't overly positive. Formed by former Jezebel's Kiss members Azriel St. Michael and Byron Black alongside Hydrogyn's Jeff Westlake (the most polite man in rock) what we actually have is a well-crafted fairly hard rocking almost poppy at times release. There are a number of very entertaining songs such as "Cry me a River" which border on being almost mainstream rock and "Let Me Go" with its use of twin guitars like Thin Lizzy is really excellent. Jezebels Kiss is a much better record than the band name suggests and isn't at all the sleaze-fest one may expect.
