There has been a spate of pretty obscure AOR/melodic rock re-issues in 2012 (AOR the band, Kane Roberts amongst them) and now they are joined by this re-release from Germany's Craaft. Craaft the album reeks of the 1980s and your enjoyment will entirely depend on whether or not you like sugary harmonies, lashings of keyboards and a general sense of the overblown. There are a plethora of bonus songs including "Takin' My Time" which sounds just like it could have been recorded on any post-Cetera Chicago album even though Craaft was recorded well before that situation ever arose. Craaft is no doubt welcome for fans of the band and the genre although the appeal may be somewhat selective for others.
