According to their bio Aviyn were formed in 2006 and come from a small town outside of the Tulsa, OK area. They cite Unearth, Atreyu and Killswitch Engage amongst their influences and this is apparent in their work which is a curious blend of fairly extreme, pounding metal with slightly fey indie-style vocals. The cover of the Deftones "Diamond Eyes" is fairly instructive of their take on things. This most certainly makes them interesting and when they go into full on metal mode they are very good indeed blending melodic guitars with a pounding rhythm section. This is in no way aimed at myself and others hurtling towards middle age but there's plenty here for the teenage hordes to get into.
