The Finnish band, The Chant,have released their 3rd album entitled A Healing Place, which is an eerily beautiful tapestry of Atmospheric Rock. The 8 songs within cascade and build to quite a cinematic journey that will find fans of Porcupine Tree and Riverside basking in their delight. Never quite building up to theMetal pace that you expect and feel is coming around the bend, but it is the pilgrimage that captures your imagination and makes you follow their soundscape driven music.
This is a stellar Prog Rock band that has a celestial vibe to them and with excellent tunes like "Riverbed", "The Black Corner"and "Spectral Light", this band will easily find fans all over the world seeking an engaging and riveting band. This is a band that deserves some attention and they will not disappoint the listener. If you dig bands like A Perfect Circle or even Opeth, check out The Chant as they are a killer band just waiting for the masses to discover them. You will not be disappointed.
