Various Artists: Klonosphere Sampler

Album samplers are always interesting no matter what. In most of them, I generally find a bunch of stuff I like and a bunch of stuff I hate, in a way it's cool because it gives me a chance to find out about band's that I normally wouldn't have checked out.

Klonosphere's sampler is actually better than a lot of the one's I've heard in the past because in this case there wasn't a single band that I can honestly say I hated, and in fact, most of the band's I liked. A good portion of the band's on the compilation are on the more "eclectic" side so some listeners may be turned off. The fact that I usually don't like unusual band's but liked this compilation however, should show you that this is some high quality stuff.

Absolute highlights include self-described "jazzcore" instrumentalists Step in Fluid's "Vicious Connection" and the Faith No More meets Strapping Young Lad "Hatred" from the band Hyperdump.

Seeing as the album is free, what do you have to lose by downloading it? Pick it up at the link below.
