Here's a good old fashioned rocking an rolling Hard Rock outfit from Sweden called
Captain Black Beard. Old School Hard Rock. Do you like singing along with your music? Then here's a new band to check out. All songs on the album lend themselves for a good time. This is Stadium rock big time, festival stuff.
Captain Black Beard is four persons strong, a classic line up with 2 guitars, bass guitar and drums. The production of the album has a massive Guns n Roses feel, at least to my ears. Its not over produced, not too smooth nor are the layers too thick for us to hear the real musicianship of these guys. Just a lot of heavy riffing, strong backup of bass and drums.
I really haven't heard good old fashioned Hard Rock like this in ages. This is a very, very strong debut album if you ask me. But you don't, so check it out for yourself and you'll be in for a treat for sure.
