Beatles, Composing Outside the : Lennon and McCartney– 1973 - 1980 (DVD)

This is easily one of the best DVDs I have received this year. I am a fan of both of these music icons, post-Beatle music. I enjoyed the discussion from the excellent panel of journalists and former band member. Their insight and the history lessons really added to my knowledge bank about the two Beatle's solo careers and provided a well-rounded and deep discussion into the inspiration and interests which drove them to continue to write prolifically well into their musical futures.

The DVD includes loads of photographs and more importantly rare and archived video, interviews, and audio clips from some of the songwriter's best songs, post – Beatles. I could not find anything missing in this production and thoroughly enjoyed it. You may not agree with all of the panel's comments, but that is what makes this DVD interesting. You get to see what some experts felt about the productions given time to reflect.

So sit back and relax, and save enough time to complete the over 139 minutes of immersion into the post -Beatles production of two of its most prolific members.
