Into The Madness: (Second demo)

You can't always judge from home recordings what will make it and what won't, especially when the music lends itself to multiple layers such as the work of Into The Madness does. There's some cool atmospheric stuff here, kind of like Depeche Mode making a black metal album (Really, Dave and the other boys need to collaborate with Dimmu Borgir on something; wouldn't that rock?), but the whole of the sum or sum of the whole or whatever you want to call it doesn't yet hit the mark. Why not? While the aforementioned atmospheric stuff remains cool, the songs lack hooks, riffs that'll make you want to stay in bed all day just so you don't have to face a world that doesn't match up. It's fun getting into the vibe of "Ruleplaque" but it's hard to return. Perhaps the third ITM demo will bring us one step closer to the brink.

Track Listing:
1. Ruleplaque (3:50)
2. Voices in Silence (4:50)
3. The Pieces of God Are Falling Down (4:36)
4. Space Cock (3:47)
5. Bonus track (2:10)
