Wild: La Nueva Orden

Wild formed in Spain around about a decade ago and they make solid traditional heavy metal with a certain leaning towards power metal. La Nueva Orden sounds like it could have been recorded anywhere between 1979 and 1982 although I'm not fully confident, and I mean that as a complement given the advances in recording techniques since then.

Take away the perfunctory opening instrumental "MMXI" and one is left with a pleasant if undemanding set of NWOBHM tunes sung in Spanish. The whole thing is quite well played and performed with suitable enthusiasm and special mention must go to the final track "Jucio Final" where the band attempt to morph into Pink Floyd with some degree of success.

It's also good to see Teen Wolf make a comeback on the sleeve.
