Bad Company: Live at Wembley

Here is the slightly abridged (same set, minus "Burnin' Sky") CD version of Bad Company's 2010 concert at London's Wembley Arena. If you've seen the Blu-ray or DVD of this show, it's a good one, and you'll love having the audio part of it to take along with you in the car or to add to your ipod for any journey you might happen to partake in.

This is a high quality audio excursion, and the band is in top form, with Paul Rodgers sounding better than ever and the twin guitar attack of Mick Ralphs & Howard Leese laying down plenty of meaty riffs and bluesy solos. Standouts are many, but the always classic cuts "Bad Company", "Feel Like Makin' Love", "Shooting Star", "Rock and Roll Fantasy", "Can't Get Enough", "Run With the Pack", and "Ready For Love" still sound fresh today and never get old. I would have rather they left off "Young Blood" on here and kept in "Burnin' Sky", but such is life. Throw in some lesser known gems like "Deal With the Preacher", "Electric Land", and "Simple Man", and you have a very well rounded set from a veteran band that was away from the scene way too long but have proven they still can deliver the goods. Nice little booklet comes with the CD filled with photos and info. Another stellar release from the folks at Eagle Rock.
