Primal Scream: Screamadelica –Live (Blu – ray)

Primal Scream is a Scottish alternative rock band originally formed in 1982 in Glasgow by Bobby Gillespie and Jim Beattie. Screamadelica was originally released on September 23rd, 1991, and is critically considered one of the best albums of the 1990s.

This is a well-made recording of a live performance of one of the band's best albums, from the Olympia in London, on November 26, 2010. The vantage point of the video gives you the viewer a front seat to an over the top performance of this album, as well as a second set that takes you through some of their best tracks off of the rest of their catalog. Both sets are full of the band performing at their best with the support of a gospel choir, a full brass section, and some cool specially made visuals.

On this Blu – Ray you get over three and half hours of Primal Scream for your enjoyment. If you're a fan of the band, this is a 'must have'. If you're new to their sound, this is an excellent introduction filmed in the vast excellence of Blu – ray clarity, taking advantage of the latest in technology.
