Ballo delle Castagne: Kalachakra

Ballo delle Castagne, (dance of chestnuts), is an Italian rock band made up of Marco Garegnani, on guitars, keyboards, Moog, sitar, and samples; Diego Banchero, bass; Vinz on vocals, and Jo Jo on drums. Carolina Cecchinato adds her vocals on "Passioni diaboliche". Maethelyiah adds vocals and moaning's to "La Foresta dei Suicidi". Marco Cavaciuti adds violin to "La Terra trema".

This is an original sounding prog adventure based on the band's inspiration from the Werner Herzog documentary "Kalachakra: The Wheel of Time", which is based on a Buddhist's life journey and awakening.

The production is sung completely in Italian. The music is dark and brings in many forms and genres from prog, Kraut rock, psychedelia, and rock in general. An interesting mix of music.
