O'Connell, Bill: Rhapsody in Blue

This is an excellent album of swinging Latin – inspired jazz from pianist Bill O'Connell and his band. It is great fun from end to end. You will have a hard time sitting still to this one. The rhythms are fantastic and are perfect for either dinner or dancing. Brings the experience of a jazz club home. "Rhapsody in Blue" is one of my all time favorite Gershwin pieces and Bill and his friends do a wonderful job putting in an inspired Latin style rhythm to this performance. This music is also great just to sit back and relax to on a Saturday or Sunday morning reading the news. Inspired performances by all of the artists here. Sounds so good it's like having a live concert in your home.
