Six Feet Deeper: Prayer By the Edge

In the twilight woods of heavy rock, Six Feet Deeper digs up a sound that's both raw and refined. Like a wildfire in the night, their music blazes with bluesy heaviness and grunge-infused energy. Sara's voice soars like a falcon over Anderson's masterful guitar landscapes - think Chris Cornell's grit, Ritchie Kotzen's soul, Blackmore's wizardry on guitar, and Mercury's vocal flair all swirling in a Zeppelin-esque storm. In songs like "No More Tears", whispers of Alice In Chains' Man On The Box era linger, adding a haunting grunge undertone.

The band's rhythmic section of Emil Mickols (drums) and Erik Arkö (bass) is close to impressive, propelling tracks like "You Will Hear Me", the opener that grabs you, "Fire In My Hands", with flames of energy, the heavy and masterful "Stone Cold Masters", the catchy "Binary", and the title track "Prayer By The Edge", a prayer answered in rock!

A very enjoyable and solid record from a young band comprised of a promising rising female singer and seasoned musicians crafting high-quality rock music. Six Feet Deeper's Prayer By The Edge is a testament to the power of blending bluesy heaviness, grunge elements, and metallic tonality into a cohesive, energetic sound... cheers!
