Brave Armadillo: Unicorn Inverter

Brave Armadillo's music is a polarizing blend of experimental and synthetic sounds, reminiscent of MGMT's psychedelic leanings. While the album's melodic synth layers showcase promise, the overall experience feels overly uniform and samey throughout its nearly 40-minute runtime. The busy vocal arrangements, though ambitious, don't quite hit the mark, lacking the finesse to elevate the songs.

Despite flashes of potential, the album's synthetic nature can feel overwhelming, making it hard to shake off the feeling that Dave's songwriting could benefit from a bit more refinement. That being said, fans of heavily synthesized, experimental music might find Brave Armadillo's unique sound appealing. For others, it might not quite resonate... cheers!
