Cheat The Prophet: Redemption

Cheat The Prophet's debut album Redemption is a testament to the band's vast experience and progressive rock pedigree. Formed by members of Ars Nova and Nepenthe, this New Jersey-based trio brings a unique blend of sounds to the table, reminiscent of bands like Hats Off Gentlemen, Drifting Sun, Myth Of Logic, and Infringement, with nuances of Phish and an alternative-metallic approach in their heaviest moments.

The keyboards on this track are particularly noteworthy, with detailed fills and a well-crafted arrangement.

Overall, Redemption is a solid output that, while not necessarily a classic, has its memorable moments and showcases the band's experience and skill.
