News: Black Widow 1970 show on DVD/Black Widow on TV

The legendary British band BLACK WIDOW is having some busy times. Their founder member CLIVE JONES has just informed Pasi Koivu about exciting news which include a DVD release and also a TV appearance by the band!

Clive Jones from Black Widow finally contacted Pasi Koivu with some very exciting news! There has been a BLACK WIDOW film found by Clive Jones. It is a concert film which includes the whole "Sacrifice" album and the whole 1970 Black Magic show. It will be available as a DVD by Mystic Records next year. Clive tells to be "thrilled by the quality and the performance". Clive Jones has been interviewed for Redemption TV - the interview might be aired in England around Christmas time and some parts of this unreleased concert film might be used! Clive Jones is composing NEW Black Widow material with Geoff Griffith (bass). The website www.myspace.com/blackwidowleicester will soon tell some more details.

Clive would like to thank Sea Of Tranquility - with their help the former Black Widow guitarist John Culley contacted Clive after 33 years!
