The Store for Music is delighted to announce further expansion to their label genre’s with the addition of a metal rock imprint named Global Rock Records.

Under the overall umbrella of The Store along with the earlier acquisitions of ANGEL AIR RECORDS and CEE DEE MAIL (Publishing) the new label is proud to announce the launch with 85 heavy metal masters assigned for global release both digitally and physically.

The main assignment is for the US rock band Lillian Axe for their new album and the re-issue of their back catalogue. “This is a significant signing for the new label and one we are very proud to be involved with” states Brian Adams, owner and Managing Director. “We will commence activity with a box set from the band followed soon by their brand new studio album”.

Adding to the catalogue are masters acquired from Crash Music, Pavement Records, The Neon City Classics and an agreement with the new ‘Louder than Loud’ label to distribute their major releases throughout The Store’s global digital and physical outlets. This is co-owned by Carl Canedy, producer and drummer with The Rods.

The Store have added a European manager of its labels in Germany with the addition of Giles Lavery overseeing activity with all 3 labels in Europe.

Other artistes are being approached to support the new outlet and details will follow regularly as they are assigned.

The Store for Music, Angel Air and Global Rock Records are distributed world wide for physical product mainly via Plastic Head Distribution in the UK and MVD in the United States and digitally via iTunes direct and Believe Digital.
