After a long fight against prostate cancer, acclaimed master of the Hammond organ Jon Lord passed away today at the age of 71. The former member of Deep Purple and Whitesnake, who worked on his solo career up until very recently, was surrounded by family and loved ones when he passed. All of us at Sea of Tranquility send our thoughts and condolences to the family, friends, and fans of Jon Lord. May he rest in peace and his music live on forever.
