At first glance, it looks like a musical version of "The Odd Couple". Classic 40-plus-year veterans of hard-edged proggy rock, supported by what they describe as "art prog punk anti heroes Audioporn ". It's an apt description.  Our recent review of Audioporn's album took a different tack, with "...a group of young Brits with a fiercely indie mindset - a sort of modern-day Roxy Music or Van der Graaf Generator, crossed with Squonk opera and with a subtle infusion of Bowie, and a Zappa-esque irreverence".  Regardless of which description is more accurate - you'll get the picture.

And you'll really "get the picture" if you view these video clips...



It may not be quite the mismatch you'd imagine, though, and there is an element of genetic similarity between the bands.  You could view this as the rebels of yesterday passing the baton to the its modern-day offspring.

While on tour, the bands filmed their experiences - and the short excerpts below are from forth coming film Almost Asleep In The Deep.  These clips will give you a a glimpse of late night life on the road, as well as a brief taste of the two bands' music.
