Wive: PVLL

Hailing from Minnesota, I have the honor of presenting you with a new light in the alternative/Indie rock world. You might even call this outfit progressive. One thing for me is certain, I haven't heard many bands with the same impact first time round as Wive have had on me, and that is positive.

Wive have managed to completely grab me with their alternative rock music. From the first song until the last all were fascinating to listen to.

Why so?

Well, Wive make use of drums, violin, guitar, organ and programming in such a unique way, it makes it almost impossible to describe what the music is.

The structures of the various tracks are so different and yet so common. As a whole they do a fine job in the arrangement part for their music.

There is a female voice, and a male voice. The music is very down tempo, minimalistic even. Although they play many different instruments I do not hear all that many together.

I really would not know how to classify this music, but it is good.
