CrystalTop Music shows off its buzz-worthiness with this 11-song sampler of progressive soul, electronic, pop and rock songs that channel the musical spirits of such icons as Pink Floyd, Deep Purple, Santana and The Allman Brothers Band – with tasty pinches of Norah Jones, Sade and Edie Brickell added for extra flavor. With artists like these on a label like this, the future of indie music – made by artists unafraid to advance their chosen genres beyond what the "industry" thinks "the people" want to hear – appears in good hands.
