Right off the bat this compilation stood out against others of its type. Rather than focus on the artists on one specific label, this release includes music from across the entire Century Media family of labels. As a result you end up with a CD that features Century Media, Nuclear Blast and Liquor & Poker Music that allows you to enjoy Into Eternity and Meshuggah with Nebula all in one sitting. The two CD's are loaded with thirty-nine songs from both existing talent that you probably know of and their newest signings that they want to call your attention to. The amount of diversity on the release makes this a worthy slab of Metal but let us not forget that they are also giving you a DVD that features videos from the same artist rosters. Consider this your own personal Headbanger's Ball as 28 videos from some of the most powerful names in Metal assault you in your own living room. I dare you to remain sitting for long especially when Dark Tranquillity, Behemoth, Arch Enemy and Nevermore bring it on. I loved this piece as I have been enjoying much of what the Century family of labels has been bringing to Metal fans for a couple of years now. It's a great way to showcase the already known while allowing you time to absorb those that are new. You cannot go wrong with a release like that for who knows how many more fans it can make for existing legends and how many new legends it can foster going forward.
