Intersystems: #IV

Toronto’s infamous psychedelic multimedia collective Intersystems have recorded and released their first new material since 1968 on #IV. They claim to be among the first to deploy the modular rig Moog synthesizer (in Canada) that was purchased directly from Robert Moog’s headquarters. The six tracks consist of spoken word nonsense with odd Moog sounds bubbling in the background. This was an excruciating listen from start to finish. Unfortunately, to add insult to injury, an additional 3 song ep was included. There was little if anything that was intriguing or musical, and listening to gibberish thrown over the top certainly did not enhance the experience. I was unable to force myself to give this a second go round; all I can say is buyer beware.
