Here's an EP for the fans. The two songs (totaling to about 8 minutes) have been part of the band's live shows for the last three years and are now making them available so they can be heard outside of the concert hall. I haven't seen Valborg in concert and don't have much of a context for these tracks, but if they are a preview of what's coming from the band then I'm excited. I especially liked "Werwolf," a really heavy track but one that has a melodic and catchy mid section. The vocals also captured more of the despair and pain that comes from being a werewolf (I'm basing this on watching movies, obviously!) than anything I've heard before. "Ich Bin Total" didn't grab my attention quite as much, but it is no less heavy and intense. Check out the cover art on this one, too! Good things are forthcoming from Valborg!
