Gama Bomb: Untouchable Glory

Thrash is not dead! Brewed in Northern Ireland, Gama Bomb were raised on a steady diet of 80's Thrash Metal, exploitation movies and some good strong drinks. What came from all of this is the 5th release in the saga that is Gama Bomb's Untouchable Glory. It is a fast and furious mixture of a nod to Pop Culture, Speed Metal and all with a great sense of humor.

Untouchable Glory is a manic Thrash Metal effort featuring no holds barred speed through out and delivered with vocals in the Bobby Blitz of Overkill vain. Gama Bomb are still adhering to their motto of "No clean guitars, No ballads and No synths", instead opting for sheer power, exploding guitar riffs and a thunderous rhythm section. Tracks like the bordering on Punk and awesome song titled, "Tuck Your Shirt In", the equally bombastic and yet catchy fury of, "My Evil Eye" or the crunch and wallop of "Witching Mania", Gama Bomb throws down the heavy at every turn.

OK, Gama Bomb doesn't re-invent the Thrash Metal wheel but they do deliver a kick ass Metal record filled with Headbanging speedy goodness. If you love Old School Thrash bands like Slayer, Testament, Overkill and Exodus sprinkled with a good dose of tongue in cheek humor, then you'll love the 12 tracks on this new Gama Bomb release. They take relentless 80's Headbanging and turn it into the New Wave of Irish Rippin' Metal. Untouchable Glory is some good ol' fast Headbangin' fun.
