Intoxicated: Rock 'n Roll Hellpatrol

Put your head down and cheeeearhhhgggge would appear to be the ethos of Speed Thrash Metal Punksters Intoxicated and their Rock 'n Roll Hellpatrol. As with the majoroty of the roster on the Hell's Headbangers label, this is straight down the line stuff and something you can predict the outcome of from the first two or three seconds.

Looking for a splash of Suicidal Tendencies? A dash of D.R.I.? Or a hammering of Motorhead? Then get yourself Intoxicated through subtle little numbers like "Crush Your Local Disco", "Lock Up Your Daughters", or "Break Your Limits". Those titles too cryptic, or tame for you? OK Intoxicated can do better than that with "Sex Drink 'n' Satan", "Metal Porno Slut" or "Slutanic SpeedMetal", which I'm sure must be ditties about cuddly lambs and cute teddy bears.

The cover of Motorhead's "The Chase Is The Better Than The Catch" gives you a good indication of what you can expect vocal wise and the blazing guitars aren't far behind. Add a chaotic cavalry crash of drums and hey presto! Intoxicated!

Is it simplistic? Oh yes. Done before? Countless times actually. In danger of offending the neighbours and scaring their cat out of its skin? Sure thing on both counts. Will it make you grin as you decipher daft lyrics and untangle mangled riffs? Over and over!

Turn this up and the take cover, the Rock 'n Roll Hellpatrol are on the prowl. You may have heard their stories countless times before but they don't take prisoners.
