The "Occupy this Album: A Benefit Album for the Occupy Wall Street Movement" is an incredible, epic 4 disc, eclectic extravaganza of protest music from all genres and all parts of the country and world. "Joan Baez & James Mc Murtry, Crosby & Nash, Michael Moore, Yoko Ono, Steve Earle, Debbie Harry, Willie Nelson, Jackson Browne, The Guthrie Family, Our Lady Peace, Lucinda Williams, Third Eye Blind, Thievery Corporation and Toots and the Maytals are among the musicians contributing to the release, with "all proceeds above board attained through the production and distribution of (the album)" going "directly towards the needs of sustaining this growing movement," (http://musicforoccupy.org/about/, 2012).

The track list is so long that you need to go to the site to view all the artists and the entire track list. This is an excellent album full of so much variety and inspiration that you can't help but find a list of favorites of your own.

Since I grew up in the 1960's, my favorites gravitated to the big names from the '60s, like Crosby & Nash, Jackson Browne, Joan Baez, and the Guthrie Family. However, I was surprised that even the rap and pop songs were very well written and interesting.

I am sure you will find at least a few tracks worthy of the low $9.99 price for a four CD set.
