Infectious Catheter Therapy: Incredible Stories from Daily Humans Life

This project came to existence in 2007. It was the strange creation of vocalist Begigore. The complete line-up now includes Alex on guitars; Smack on bass & samplings and drummer Michael. They had a number of appearances on compilations as well as share some splits CDs before this official debut.

Not a pretty cover art isn't it? Then again, when a band is getting the label Gringore stamped on them, you can't expect misty scenic or the likes. Usually, one would expect short, un-melodic, cacophonic, low-fi songs, with vocalist screaming their lungs out. Well, I was actually pleasantly surprised by this bunch of youngsters (main man Begigore looks like a high-school student). Granted, the tunes are mostly in the one or two minutes ranges, but there was actual songwriting involve when composing them. Those young fellows can write some interesting stuff, besides being good musicians. The vocals are real neat; deep growls with wicked sound effects applied to them. You can't imagine this short haired young dude behind the mic, doing this type of voice. Then you have another un-expected element ever so present: good crushing guitar work and regular moderate tempos. To make matters even more melodious, they have included frequent keyboard parts; even some comical ones here and there. All this is being backed by a pretty tight and efficient rhythmic section. Although certain repetitiveness settles, due to the fact or using the same formula throughout the album, a few of those compositions are standing out. Tracks like: "The Mystery of two Nurses" and "Hungry Refrigerator" caught my attention such as: "Balls Song" and "A Grind and a Thread". To open and close this 29 minutes disc, the boys choose two instrumentals techno type of tunes; again much different from your average grindcore bands.

Incredible Stories from Daily Humans Life is a different vision of what grincore is all about.
