Lifer from South Wales are one such band, take five unassuming humble guys, put them on stage and wait for all hell to break loose!

As their name suggests, Lifer play a down and dirty Southern tinged heavy metal, throw in some Sabbath for the depth and doom and you can pretty much feel the power ebb through your soul. Playing very few gigs, these hardened metal muthas literally plug in and proceed to blow the place apart. Its heavy, sludgy, powerful stomp soon gets the place crammed with the travelling faithful rewarded with a blistering performance.
