Threshold - March Of Progress

The wait has been worth it. There were many excellent progressive metal releases in 2012 and this is no exception.

Circus Maximus - Nine

These guys keep getting better. Great riffs and some of their most melodic stuff to date.

Phideaux - Snowtorch

In a word - Awesome!

Carptree - Man Made Machine

One of the most interesting bands around. A darker atmosphere pervades this release.

Beardfish - Sleeping In Traffic Part One

Another excelllent release from these dynamic Swedes.

Marillion - Sounds That Can't Be Made

Really enjoying this one so far. Some of their most beautiful moments put to disc .

Amorphis - Skyforger

Their last few albums have been essential. Just a great band who can seemingly do no wrong.

Porcupine Tree - Lightbulb Sun

A classic and I absolutely love it.

The Prog Collective - The Prog Collective

A strong effort from Mr. Sherwood and friends loaded with strong melodies that had me hooked right from the start.

Distorted Harmony - Unitopia

One of the most promising new bands I have heard in quite some time.

The Cars - Candy-O

Pop rock perfection.

Blue Oyster Cult

Always thought this was underrated. "The Great Sun Jester" is one of their best songs.
