My Ruin: Alive On The Other Side

Scream Queen Tairrie B. and her band My Ruin has finally give the fans a chance to hear the pulverizing group in all its metal frenzied glory. Live and kicking butt! This disc, taken from their "Tell Your God" tour and recorded at Rios in Leeds UK, packs all the raw energy of My Ruin into a 15 track burst of heavy metal angst that hammers you unmercifully from start to end. Mick Murphy and his hellish guitar are as brutal and unrelenting as they come with his searing distortion filled battering of your senses. If that is not enough, then there is the snarling, growling ball of attitude that is Miss B. She is to metal what Johnny Rotten was to punk. Like a woman possessed, this lady dares you to ignore her message! I don't think I would want to cross her either!

This live disc is a classic piece of metal that has to be heard to be believed. I am anxious to see this band live. It is a package that delivers all the feeling and power of the My Ruin sound. Sometimes it is hard to capture the true nature of a live show. This one does! The banter between songs by Miss B really gives you the feeling of being there. When she says "We will rock your balls off" you will be checking to make sure that all body parts are intact!

This is as intense a live album as you will find. If you are a metal head, I would suggest you get yourself down to the local record store and prepare yourself for one of the most brutal and satisfying "in concert" discs to come out!
